Chapter 13 Bankruptcy
This unique form of debt relief allows people to eliminate debts through a payment plan that lasts between three and five years, depending on the situation. Through the payment plan, some creditors may be paid off completely. Other creditors may only receive a small percentage of what they are owed. Upon completion of the plan, remaining unsecured debt is completely eliminated.
